African Mask Dwarf
Waxy textured, arrowhead shaped leaves in a striking deep green accentuated by whitish or light green veins and deep purple undersides. Alocasia amazonica are more fussy than most plants, these little beauties are for the more experienced plant lover.
Light: Bright, indirect light
Water: Keep soil moist but not saturated or soaked. Water when top inch of soil is dry. Mist often and offer a source of humidity. In winter months allow soil to dry out slightly more between watering, but never completely.
Other: Keep away from drafts such as furnace vents and AC units and offer high humidity. Plants prefer to be slightly root bound, be wary of increased pot size when transplanting. Soil should be kept moist but not soggy, using a well drainage mix. Toxic, keep out of reach of pets and small children
